This page contains some of the photos of my April 2000 Gourd Exhibit at the Volcano  Art Center Gallery

with Kumu Rae Kahikilaulani Fonseca. 

The exhibit consisted of retired Ipu Heke from Kumu Rae.   Ipu Heke are gourd instruments used in hula and I feel the spirit of his hula made them shine.  I donated the proceeds of the gourd sales to his Halau.  

He was a great inspiration and is a dearly missed friend and family member. 

This exhibit was absolutely a special night for me. 

The Volcano Art Center Gallery has represented my work since 1995.
